There was an early morning tai chi class in the dining room as it was too chilly to have it outside on the upper deck. We decided to sleep in so when we went to the dining room for breakfast the tai chi was still going on. We watched them finish the class then had a quick breakfast as we were going to visit a well known cave on one of the islands. One of the more famous caves in Ha Long Bay There are literally thousands of Karst's on the limestone formations in Ha Long Bay. A karst is formed by the dissolution of soluble rocks such as limestone. They are caves with sink holes and underground drainage systems. A view inside the Tien Ong Cave Exploring inside the cave After returning to our boat there was a lesson on making green tea and jasmine tea. Of course we all got to sample the tea, and it was jolly good. We had a very nice buffet lunch while we were heading back to the mainland. It was Super Bowl Sunday and the Wi-Fi was pretty spotty so it was hard to keep track of the game. The set up for our tea brewing demonstration Our final meal on board our boat We disembarked and got back on board our bus for the drive back to the Hanoi airport. At the airport we said goodbye to our Hanoi local guide and proceeded inside to check in for our flight. Our flight was about 45 minutes late so we got to Da Nang a little later than expected. We were flying to Da Nang which is in the central part of the country on the east coast. Once there we met our new local guide and drove to Hoi An about 50 minutes to the south. As soon as we arrived at the Hotel Royal Hoi An we went right to dinner in one of the hotel's restaurants. After dinner we all headed to our rooms for the night. A slice of Vanilla mousse cake for dessert Our bed awaited us in the Hotel Royal Hoi An Next time our visit to Hoi An.
